Monstera deliciosa (Fruit salad or Swiss cheese plant)
A must have for any 2020 collection. These little beauties can grow to 20m in length. They love humid conditions and indirect sunlight which together resemble the jungle environments of Central and South America from which they are from.
Care tips: Keep the plant warm and humid. Well lit, warm and humid bathrooms or kitchens are ideal but if that is not your place then misting the leaves frequently will help as would a humidifier near to the plant to keep the air moist. Fertilize when you water during the summer and spring months, then refrain from feeding during the autumn and winter months. Remember, this is a climber and it may need to be trimmed to keep it under control. Prune in the spring to autumn by removing top growth, as well as any dead or damaged leaves. Cut close to the main stem to avoid stubs.
