Peace Lily (Spathiphyllum)

It is hard to go wrong with a Peace Lily.  Their white blooms are iconic with symbolism so make a meaningful gift. Peace Lilies help clean the air and they are the perfect plants for beginners as they are hardy and forgiving.  Try these in your moderately lit bedroom or perhaps in a warm and humid bathroom.

Care tips:

Position in mid to low light conditions (out of a cool draught). Potting mix should be kept moist but not waterlogged.  Leaves will droop if too dry; a deep watering will rectify this however. 

Remove leaves and flowers as they die back to keep the plant looking tidy and healthy.  Feed every month in spring, summer & autumn with a suitable liquid house plant food. Repot if root bound.
